Surface Integral Equation Method for Soft-and-Hard/DB Boundary Condition

A surface integral equation (SIE) method is developed to analyze electromagnetic scattering by 3-D objects with soft-and-hard/DB (SHDB) boundary conditions. The SHDB condition a generalization of the soft-and-hard (SH) and DB conditions that associate normal tangential field components on boundary. In method, expressed in vector form allows combining it equations. obtained equations can be discretized standard moments (MoM) using Rao–Wilton–Glisson (RWG) functions. Different combinations are derived, their numerical performance studied compared. It demonstrated experiments much more stable system considering as extra equations, rather than integrating them into SIEs. solutions proposed nonsquare verified physical optics approximations.
